System Shock: ReWired (also referred to as System Shock: Re:Wired) is a mod for System Shock. It was created by the 3RDplayer and had its final release on September 8th, 2018. There was a planned sequel that was either cancelled or put on hiatus.
Official Description[]
System Shock: ReWired is the very first full fanmade singleplayer campaign for the original System Shock. 3 brand new levels with branching paths, 4 new cyberspace sections, new puzzles, new audiologs (currently text only), new on-screen text and so much more awaits in the now dark corridors of the hospital ship UNN Bismarck. Playable with all existing versions of System Shock (Enhanced Edition recommended). What are you waiting for? SHODAN waits for your return! And she is eager to end your - in her opinion - useless existence.
Story[]
SHODAN has taken over a hospital ship, the UNN Bismarck. The protagonist is an unknown person who has woken from sleep after neurosurgery. They make their way through the ship, temporarily getting help before it is cut off. After some trials, ultimately defeating SHODAN.
