The Resistance is a movement among Von Braun and UNN Rickenbacker crewmembers to fight The Many. They are directly responsible for sending off the warning transmission from the Athletics Sector on the Recreation Deck to Earth. By the time SOLDIER G65434-2 is awaken from his cryo sleep most of the resistance against The Many are either dead or turned with only a very few isolated pockets of survivors left attempting to send out a distress signal to warn Earth about the threat of The Many and to escape back to Earth by reaching the escape pods.
