Summon Code red assassin
[Source]

The Red Assassins are only encountered on the Operations Deck. In an Audio Log by Malick, which the player finds before the first encounter, it is explained that his three "red friends" are guarding the override to the Simulation Units. This override is in the form of Simulation Chips they always carry, making them critical targets.

The only other differences between the Red Assassins and the Cyborg Assassins is their health (they are a little less resistant than their originals), color of the uniform they wear and their characteristic behavior. When the Red Cyborgs are approached, they retreat from the player if possible. If the player gets close enough and/or engages in combat thereafter, they act exactly like the Cyborg Assassin.

As they are stealthy and fast, a good idea is to beat them at their own game. Photonic Redirection Psi Power can be used to render you invisible. However, the first time the player approaches the Red Assassins close enough, they will run away as scripted. After this though, they won't be able to detect the invisible player any further.

Red assassin cyborg locations:

  • Sector C in the Data Storage room, carries the Interpolated Simulation chip
  • Sector B just behind the only non-bulkhead door from the Xerxes room, carries the Quantum Simulation chip
  • Sector D near command center past the D-shaped room, carries the Linear Simulation chip
