Rebecca Siddons is a character in System Shock 2. She was a crew member on the Von Braun and is the fiancee of Thomas Suarez. She was likely a member of the Operations crew.
Background[]
Siddons and Suarez had been in contact for a while before the situation aboard the Von Braun fully deteriorated. Shortly before the Many took over the Von Braun and UNN Rickenbacker, Siddons and Suarez met aboard the Von Braun and made a plan to escape the ship together should the situation become dire.
On July 11th, Siddons and Suarez attempted to make their move, but Siddons found herself trapped on the Operations Deck by Sgt. Bronson's security team.
Siddons managed to fix the final, unlaunched escape pod on the Command Deck. Separated from Suarez, she was bitten by an Annelid Arachnid on the Recreation Deck, and poisoned. Apparently, Suarez had managed to find her with help from the Resistance on that deck, and rescued her.
She is seen escaping the Von Braun with Tommy Suarez in an escape pod on the Command Deck.
After the soldier defeats the Many and SHODAN, he sends a hail message that reached the escape pod with Siddons and Suarez. Thomas decides to turn back and rendezvous with the Von Braun. However, he discovers that Siddons has somehow apparently been possessed by SHODAN. Rebecca's fate is unknown.
She is set to return in System Shock 3.
