RW-45 Ion Pulse Rifle is a weapon in System Shock (Remake). Compared to the original game, the remake version has received a few appearance changes.

Overview

The RW-45 Ion Pulse Rifle is located in the Alpha Grove. It can be found in a briefcase on the ground in a room on the north part of the level. The rifle is a strong energy weapon that deals high damage but also consumes a large amount of energy when fired. As such, it advised to regularly recharge energy whenever possible if the weapon is used frequently. Fired shots can ricochet off surfaces and that mechanic is also a part of an achievement. A modkit can be found on the Level 7-Enginering that slightly reduced the energy costs of the weapon.
