Psionic Ability or PSI is one of the basic statistics in System Shock 2.
Overview
The maximum effective Psionic Ability level is 10, although most psionic skills benefit from a Psionic Ability only up to 8. A player can only permanently upgrade Psionic Ability to level 6, while the last levels require a combination of the following items/psionic disciplines to temporarily reach:
- A PsiBoost Implant
- A Psi Booster
- A WormSkin Armor
- Recursive Psionic Amplification
Psionic Ability increases the psi points of a player and increases the effectiveness of psionic disciplines. The amount bonus psi points given is varied by difficulties.
