Crystal Prisms were introduced in 2023 by Syvintec for high-density energy storage, and have been the storage medium of choice ever since for energy-dependent Heavy Weapons, such as the Fusion Cannon. The Silicon/Vanadium crystal lattice stores energy in six orthogonal dimensions in the prism's compressed EM fields, allowing for completely efficient energy drain and recharge.
