Certain characters in the System Shock series are mentioned only by named but make no direct appearances. Many of these characters have little to no information about them beyond their name and sometimes their deaths.

Some of these characters have similar names, they may or may not be the same person, it is never clarified.

  • Gunther Stackhouse: Husband of Mira Stackhouse, TriOptimum employee stationed on Citadel Station, and member of the Resistance. He was killed by unknown means on October 15th 2072.
  • Keith Swanson: Member of the Resistance and TriOptimum employee stationed on Citadel Station, he lead a group on the Hospital level but was killed and eaten by mutants on October 17th 2072.
  • Carl: Member of the Resistance and TriOptimum employee stationed on Citadel Station, marked the word 'HERE' on the wall on the Hospital level. Died of unknown means in October 2072.
  • Alan: Member of the Resistance and TriOptimum employee stationed on Citadel Station, went with Carl to try and reach the elevator on the Hospital level and was turned into a Cyborg Assassin on October 26th 2072.
  • Beth: Member of the Resistance and TriOptimum employee stationed on Citadel Station, worked with Robin Kell in the Flight Deck, turned into a cyborg and had a brief encounter with David Honig in 2072.
