The Reactor and energy systems are located on Level R of Citadel Station.

Overview[]

This level houses the Station's Reactor and support facilities. Painted mainly in gray, this level of Citadel is marked by its inelegant, yet functional architecture.

Due to the inherent health risk involved, a medical substation and the Station's only Radiation Treatment Area have been installed here. There's also a variable gravity chamber, which is used by TriOptimum engineers and scientists in a variety of experiments. This level also has a shield generator room with a receptacle for Isotope X-22. The reactor core area has a destruct sequence lever, activated upon entering a 6-digit access code.

Objectives[]

First Visit[]

  • Use the Isotope X-22 found on the Research level to turn on the station's shields.
  • Use the laser safety override code found on the Research level and disable the laser safety override that prevents the laser from being fired into the shields.

Second Visit[]

  • Use the Reactor Self Destruct code (found upon destroying the computer nodes on levels 1-6) and flip the self-destruct switch to enable the reactor to self-destruct.
