Description

The Lead Pipe is a weapon in System Shock (Remake). Compared to the original game, the remake version has received a number of appearance changes.

Overview

The Lead Pipe is the first melee weapon the player obtains after waking up on the Medical Deck and can be found in an open chest within a side room. The weapon is deals physical damage and is ideal for attacking melee enemies . Standard hits can be made with the Lead Pipe and it can also perform charged attacks to deal more damage. The weapon can also be used to hit enemies on the head resulting in more damage ( aka headshot). Zombies will only takes 2 charged attacks to the head to die. Charged attacks can be "stacked". If player releases left mouse button after a charged attack and holds the mouse button again to chain another charged attack, the player then will use the natural motion of the swing to start charging the attack from an opposite side. Normally charging an attack and releasing it will always swing from the right to left, using the 'stacking" method will alternate from right to left infinitively. This will result in faster attacking, dealing more damage and you will look totally cool doing it.
