Nurse Erin Bloome is a character in System Shock 2. Nurse Bloome was one of the sixteen nurses who was sent to the Hydroponics Deck by Angela Loesser on Dr. Marc Miller's request. She was the first Cyborg Midwife.
Background[]
Nurse Bloome had a child on Earth. She was British, based on her accent.
Dr. Miller, under the control of the Many, requested that nurse Loesser send nurse Bloome and fifteen of her other nurses to the Hydroponics deck. There, Bloome discovered Miller's schematics, detailing the illegal cybernetics modifications he was planning to perform on her. Whether she confronted Dr. Miller about this or was captured by him is unknown, but she was converted into a Cyborg Midwife.
In-Game[]
Nurse Bloome, as a Cyborg Midwife, ambushes the soldier in the Chemical Store Room in Hydroponics. When she is killed, the protagonist can find her only Audio Log on her body. Soldier also encounters the "ghosts" of Bloome and Miller in Hydroponics Sector B, reliving Bloome's conversion.
