Template:Infobox characterNurse Angela Loesser is a character in System Shock 2. Nurse Loesser was the nurse supervisor on the Von Braun. She also tended to the ship's laboratory monkeys.
Background
When selecting a monkey for dissection, Loesser and Grassi noticed that the other monkeys were acting up in protest. Loesser observed similar displays of empathy and intelligence from the monkeys since the Von Braun reached Tau Ceti V. Dr. James Watts rebuked her, however, in a patronizing email.
At the request of Dr. Marc Miller, Loesser sent several of her nurses to the Hydroponics Deck. Unbeknownst to her, Miller was under the control of The Many, and was converting the nurses one by one into Cyborg Midwives to tend to the Annelid eggs from Tau Ceti V.
Loesser eventually deduced the fate of her nurses, and she and Miller killed each other in an apparent shootout in Hydroponics Sector D.
In-Game
Her body is found on the floor of Hydroponics Sector D, right outside the bulkhead.
Trivia
Loesser is the oldest crew member aboard the Von Braun.
